Baseline Health is an independent educational publication covering GLP-1 medications, peptides, metabolic health, and longevity. We exist to close the gap between what the clinical research shows is possible and the guidance most people actually receive.
Why I started this
I'm Victor. I've spent years in the fitness world and competed in the 2022 NPC Idaho Muscle Classic, so I understand muscle, training, nutrition, and what it really takes to change your body.
When GLP-1 medications took off, I kept seeing the same thing: people starting them with almost no guidance. A short appointment, a prescription, and then they were on their own, spending hundreds of dollars a month and hoping for the best. I watched them lose strength along with the weight, hit plateaus they could not explain, and fight side effects no one had warned them about.
It bothered me. These medications are genuinely powerful, but the people taking them deserved better than guesswork. So I built Baseline Health to be the guidance I felt they were owed: every claim tied to real clinical research, written in plain language, with no hype and no sponsorships.
How we work
- Every clinical claim is cited. We reference real, named studies and official sources (FDA, NIH, NEJM, and the major clinical trials). We never invent studies, statistics, or experts.
- We are independent. Baseline Health is not affiliated with any pharmaceutical company. We accept no sponsorships and we do not sell or prescribe medications.
- We write to be understood. Rigorous does not have to mean academic. We explain the science in plain language so you can actually use it.
